BIBLE CLASSES
A Note From The Education Minister
The mission of the Whitehouse Church of Christ education ministry is to edify the believer and evangelize the lost through a systematic study of God’s Word. We also want to encourage all classes to participate in both fellowship and benevolent opportunities as they present themselves to each class. Your attendance and participation is deeply appreciated and desired.

Bible Classes for all ages

Cradle Roll
This class meets in the Nursery (Room 139) and is designed for infants through 24 months.
On Sunday mornings, the class is taught by Lena Groda and Cindy Armstrong. On Wednesday evenings, Aleisha Dickey and Judy Yates serve as teachers. The class uses the Palma Smiley curriculum.

Toddler Class : 2’s and 3’s
This class meets in Room 135 and is designed for children ages 2–3.
On Sunday mornings, the class is taught by Nancy Lynch and Debbie Mitchell. On Wednesday evenings, Carli and Ava Hays serve as the teachers.

Preschool Class: 4’s -Kindergarten
This class will meet in room 133, and Carol Wilkinson will teach on Sunday mornings, while Samantha Duvall will teach on Wednesday evenings.

Elementary Class : 1st Grade through 3rd grade:
This class meets in Room 220 and is taught on Sunday mornings by Melissa Parrish. The curriculum is a compilation of materials prepared by Kim DuPree and Melissa Parrish.
During the school year, Emily Solanki and Sydney Stewart teach the 1st–5th Grade Bible Hour class on Wednesday evenings in the Bible Hour Room.

Elementary Class: 4th Grade through 5th grade:
This class will meet in Room 221 and will be taught on Sunday mornings by Kim DuPree. The curriculum is a compilation of materials prepared by Kim DuPree and Melissa Parrish.
During the school year, Emily Solanki and Sydney Stewart will teach the 1st–5th Grade Bible Hour class on Wednesday evenings in the Bible Hour Room.

Junior High/HighSchool (6th-12th Grades)
This class will meet in Room 215.
On Sunday mornings, Daniel DuPree will lead a study on The Parables, exploring the timeless lessons Jesus taught.
On Wednesday evenings, Cody Stewart will teach from the Book of Hebrews.

Updates/Announcements: Spring Quarter 2026
The spring quarter is now underway, and all of our subjects and all of our teachers have been selected and are in place. I hope we have a great spring quarter, and I hope we continue to grow the Bible School ministry throughout 2026.
As soon as the spring quarter ends, we will jump headlong into all of the summer (educational) activities. On June 6th, we will have our annual Camp Friendship. This is our annual VBS, and it will be a one-day event this year. Camp Friendship will run from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. We will have classes/activities/crafts/puppet skits/snacks/lunch (hot dogs and hamburgers). There will be classes for all ages, including a nursery for the little ones and an adult class.
Our Promotional Sunday is scheduled for June 7th (as of right now). This is the date when we will promote our students to their next grade level. So be sure to be here on June 7th.
Bi-monthly throughout the summer months, we will also have a themed Dessert Night. These will be held on Wednesday evenings, immediately following our mid-week Bible study. ~Douglas L. Yates
