Compassion Cards

This week marked the beginning of something special at Whitehouse Church of Christ as Team One gathered to write Compassion Cards to those they have been praying for and hoping to reach.

With pens in hand and hearts focused on others, our members took time to write personal notes of encouragement, care, and invitation. Each card represents more than just a handwritten message - it represents an opportunity to plant a seed. Each week, a different team gathers to write cards, creating a consistent opportunity to reach out, encourage and build relationships.

We may never know what God will do with a simple card, a kind word, or a thoughtful invitation. But we know our responsibility is to plant the seed and trust God to provide the growth.

We are excited to see where these seeds lead and who God may place in our path. We pray that these cards will open doors, build relationships, encourage hearts, and ultimately lead others closer to Him.

“I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase.” - 1 Corinthians 3:6

We’re thankful for everyone who is willing to take part in this effort.

What made the night especially meaningful was the blend of generations and personalities—some deeply concentrated on the game in front of them, others simply enjoying the chance to talk, laugh, and connect. Moments like these remind us that fellowship doesn’t always require a formal program; sometimes it’s as simple as sitting across the table from one another and sharing time together.

We are grateful to everyone who stayed after services, brought games or snacks, and helped make the evening fun for all. As we step into a new year, we look forward to many more opportunities to connect, and grow together.
